...walau... just because she is pretty dosent mean you all should protect her from some criticism that will be good for her ?

we all should learn to SEE and differenciate good photos..and feel them...
does a pretty model (im not saying that this particular one is pretty) with a sexy pose make a good photo?
is a photo that makes your eye pop makes a good photo?
not all the time.
SOMETIMES a photo has the power to bring the viewer into the photogs mind
and appriciate the ARTISTIC vision.

honestly i have enough of this narcissistic "model" who cant make up her mind what to call herself , apple or sophia?

OMG! :bsmilie:

YES!
And what's this with fake names????? Pro models don't do things like that!

Need not to comment on this. I will just treat these photos as snap shots. Just a playful girl who likes to pose for people and post her photos for others to see.

We need not to be too hard or harsh on her. What she needs is proper guidance and advise.

Then what do pro models do? Backstab other models? Btw,is Rinoa a name only registered in your birth cert or ic? If yes, I don't know this is your surname or your name. If no, why aren't you use real name which is written in your ic/birth cert?

Oh, I forgot. Zig is right, she is pretty.

hmm... maybe she meant "Name" and not screen name? :dunno:
anyway, i won't consider this backstabbing if we're telling her straight. nothing personal! :)

Ladies & Gentlemen, as much as i can appreciate the sentiments and the passion that this particular thread has generated, may i please gently remind everyone to be civil and refrain from any asinine & puerile name calling.

Please regard this is a final reminder.

Thank you.

Totally off-topic, but methinks its puerile. I'm just an anal nazi with English. :)

BTW, I reserve comments on the model shoot, but Wolfgang is right on being civil.

...ok ok im really sorry... i really love photography alot you see.. thats why i get so ballistic when i see crass photography.
i also know i need to respect other people's decisions and vision.
i do apologise.

how many times have you told people you love and want to make photograhy your living..and the only questions they ask are: "GOT SHOOT NAKED WOMEN ANOT?"
i kena all the time and im very insulted by them.

blackandwhitefilmforever: i'm sure she is pretty in other people's eyes but not mine.

so end of the day i have nothing against the model or the photographer (although i do think the model is narcsissistic) i just have a problem with those pictures.

Perhaps let the poster decide for herself? Some peolple like it class, some people like it crass, we are all here to share photos & advice, tips on photography. It is soo Singaporean to slam people right in the face when they see something they can't except, our upbringing? It's a possibility. This thread is filled with lots of bitchiness & jealousy as well. Silverfrond though is very tactful on her comment, I like that :)
Pro models do not back stab other models, back stabbing/slamming another model is considered very unprofessional, just because a model is not incredibly tall & from some big time agency does not mean he/she is not a pro model, if anyone earns a living from modelling, he/she is considered a pro model, they are hired & paid to be someone's model. There are different types of models. There are "Haute Couture" models, Racequeen type models........Even the old lady in the McDonald commercial & the big guy in M1 commercial are also pro models....... I hope the lady who started this thread realise that not everyone is willing to except ther photos, maybe the photos should be kept to her own blog.

Cheers!~

To those who consider themselves pro models, check out this incredible lady, far more beautiful & sexier than any model here at CS, do a search on this very popular model & first asian model to appear in PlayBoy, Sung Hi Lee maybe then, you won't be so proud of yourselves. This goddess is earning more money than you can imagine. Perhaps her photos potrayed to some of you may look crass, well, it is afterall a male-dominated world baby. She earns all the doe, while you sulk behind your PC, slam another model and give "your takes" about "who & how is a Professional Model". Lol! Juz my 2 cents

Cheers!~

i think it is totally unfair to say pple in thgis way. i'm sure u all dun like to be said in that way too. why made other's life miserable???

im not trying to use pick up line.

may i know if u visit Tampines mall lately and eat alone.thkis _------>apple(lao niang)

...ok no point arguing back and fourth... you be your nice nice person i'll be my grouch

This is a public forum and it's alright if you express your views and comments on some images but I think it's not so right to start calling names when you do not know those ppl personally (model, photographer, organiser, etc.) Even if you do, it's better to keep those comments or personal attacks private.
Everyone is beautiful in its own way and one's beauty lies in the hand of the beholder.
To label someone in public as a narcissistic "model" is really in bad taste. (Narcissism = Mental disorder characterized by extreme self-absorption, an exaggerated sense of self-importance, and a need for attention and admiration from others.) A real gentleman will apologise.

Seriously, why do you guys (or gals) like to call other people names huh? Don't get it at all. Flame/debate/suan or difference in view is one thing...

If really so power, then post some photos.

Well, I am quite sad actually, seeing us Singaporeans being like this. The really good ones are not loud-mouth, critical nor talk a lot. When pro posts their products, they display their skills real well.

I always believe in stay humble and the choice of words are important. This forum, is read by the public, what one say will reflect on what other think of that person. One may consider it as "what the heck, I am not going to meet the guy anyway" kind of attitude but one cannot stop bad impressions from spreading.

Be polite and be humble. :)

Actually, can't really consider it an insult 'cos Apple says tis of herself on her blog - "I am Zhi Lian Kuang" (translate: Narcissistic in Chinese) so if u think bout it, Zig is only guilty of repeating wat has already been stated.
