Hi. I am a new member to CS and Zeiss family.
After owning the ZE50 f1.4 for the past one month, my wife and me loved the 3D effect of the lens. The colour and contrast are also wonderful. Got a good deal from B&S and just acquired the ZF85 f1.4 (using F-EOS adapter). From some test shots, I think I am going to love this lens even more than the 50mm.
Has anyone used the ZF mount on Canon body? (i know this is a silly question because there is ZE mount available for Canon) Will there be any limitations on the lens with the adapter combination?

You will need to do stop down metering and do not have exif info. Depending on adapter thickness, may hv slight variation with infinity focus.

Depends on what you like to shoot, every Zeiss lens has its own strength and based on your last 3 condition only the Zeiss ZF 100/2 Makro will really satisfy your lust for bokeh, sharpness and the 3D effect. :devil:
