Depends on what you like to shoot, every Zeiss lens has its own strength and based on your last 3 condition only the Zeiss ZF 100/2 Makro will really satisfy your lust for bokeh, sharpness and the 3D effect.

Ya, feel like selling a few lenses to get the 35mm f1.4

The 100 is very nice but not suitable for daily use.

Go and test out the lens 1st before deciding to buy.

Personally for budget wise, 18/3.5, 35/2, 50/2 are quite a handy lenses with quite gd picture quality.
If no budget limit, of cos 15/2.8,21/2.8, 25/2, 35/1.4, 100/2.
for others like 28/2, 50/1.4, 85/1.4 is depends on individual likings.

all the best in chosing the right zeiss lenses to own.

Have not handled this particular lens before so really can't comment but a Zeiss is still a Zeiss. Have been using Zeiss lens from film days
had got used to its characteristics but it's not fair for me to critic other lens which also have their own elements.
So to me a Zeiss lens still holds water for my photography:)

Just to share a shot with Carl Zeiss N50mm F1.4. It's versatile as a portrait lens.

Sharing another Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar N70-200mm shot recently from an outdoor shoot with MUS 2012 Finalist Melody

Contestant looks very good except for the green tattoo on the ankle. I hate it when girls with such pearly flawless skin has to deliberately spoil it with some ink.

How is the standard of MUS 2012? Can I tag along for your shoot? I help carry towel in case these babes get wet...heehee :)

Yeah do agree it's a waste to put ink on flawless skin just to apt western cultures but it's alll about choices lor. This was the last of 3 shoots and in any case am not the official photog but with the hair and makeup sponsor just brought along the N70-200mm for some behind the scene thing. As for this year's contestants not too bad though :)
