I am glad I have made the decision to switch over to NEX so the wait for NEX A7 and relatively more affordable E-mount Zeiss is more exciting than seeing DSLR Zeiss lenses' pricing reaches insanity.

The pricing for A mount Zeiss DSLR lenses aren't insanity at all.

I think the new FE (FF E-mount) will not be as perfectly corrected as these Otus lenses, so the price will not be as steep. (Nope, I am not talking about A-mount.)

Its behind trinity college in cambridge, UK. yup. this lens is really quite amazing. i think the fact that its not any bigger than a 50/1.4 is very liberating too. i considered all the other 85s from different manufacturers, but they were all too bulky to fit my shooting style. i see you use alot of other brand lenses.. do you shoot them on the NEX?

How do you adapt Contax G to NEX? Does it retain autofocus with the adapter?

Actually there should be an adapter that allows af. I saw the youtube video. But I cant seem to find it to purchase it..
Right now I am using metabones adapter. No af.
