If you have 1999 for a 47" LG, see the price purchased sticky in the HWZ forum. FYI - I paid less for a 47" LH 70.

Thank you Peter.......i picked up a 47LH50 LG at Harvey Norman at $1999 nett today .... including delivery and installation..... i think it was a fair price .

The 47" LH70 was also same price ...... went with the LH50 instead because it had more bells and whistles at same price

Thanks again

Gratz ar Ed!

Well I am ...

The model which I've been waiting for (Panasonic TH-P42G11) has finally arrived in Singapore a few weeks ago and I've just called up Goh Ah Bee for a quotation ...

S$2180 with 3 years warranty, free wall mount and S$200 NTUC voucher; urgh ...

How much are the bulb replacements in projector's these days?

Definately more worth then the TV. I would say around $500 per 2 years?

It depends on your purpose.

A PJ needs dark conditions, and is not suitable for switching on and off frequently. If your kids or parents wish to watch telly, you need to switch the PJ on, warm up and switch on a tuner too.

A PJ gives a large cinematic feel, and requires room for this.

Each has its merit. I chose the best plasma I could buy.
