If sharpness is "jia lat" then this lens will not be that hot selling.

On the contrary the sharpness is as good as the older primes if not better.

erm, i was in your situation b4, choosing either the 24-70 or the 17-55.
24-70 is FX 17-55 is DX, unless u plan to go to Fx in the future then get the 24-70. if nt stick wif 17-55

it also depends on your shooting style, coz 24 mm , in my own opinion , is not wide enuff for landscapes / scenaries sometimes, as compared to 17mm on the other lens. but if u are covering for events, i tink 24-70 in my opinion would be better as it got that extra reach at 70mm,

price wise it onli varies abt 500~600, maybe you shall think is it worth it to fork out the extra for a FX lens.

I think in future Nikon were go FF is better to get 24-70, 2-3 years time maybe u go FF who know. I myself thinking of buying 17-55 and now i change my mine to get 24-70 further more 17-55 is a DX lens.

I think I saw a piece in Max Photo AMK Hub. I may be wrong. Maybe you can call them up to ask? ;p
