May pop by next week. Been to Mapcamera in Shinjuku and will visit leica boutique in Ginza.

Any other shops to recommend?

Maybe can see Japanese Lenses also...hehe (ahem thanks to ZoomP and Gommy)

Got to Airport Terminal 2.
There is an electronic shop that sells Camera.
So far they are the cheapest e.g.Canon 7D after tax rebate = S$2214.00 while at BigCamera in Shinjuku, it was like 2.8K (no rebates yet)

Yes.. this store has AMAZING MINT copies of almost everything...

Opposite this store is Sankyo, which one shop specializes in Domestic Cameras Nikon S, Canon.... and the other at the corner which specializes in Leica, Rolleiflex, Hasselblad, Alpa, Voigtlander.....

Amazing...

Before digital came along... I heard Ginza had MORE such camera stores...

I SERIOUSLY recommend going to Fujiya. Prices there will make the classified section here at clubsnap look STUPID!!!!! (I'm serious)

eg: Cron 50 latest = 80-90k yen for A or AB+ (9nish on clubsnap)
Canon 24 1.4 Mk 1 NEW for 75k yen.
Hassy 503CW bodies for 80k yen...

map camera in shinjuku's another one. nice place, a tad pricey, but quality's top notch.

Its a nice shop but prepare to pay premium. They have some rd1s and VC stuff the last I was there.

My fave is still lemonsha. Die die must go. Its a leica heaven. Just bring more $ lah.

If you do go to Nakano - quite accessible from Shinjuku Station by the JR line - don't forget to drop by Jackroad - lots of vintage rolexes there. Also some Pams, and Panerai there.:thumbsup:
