Niceness! Now I'm seriously getting one after looking at sd14 samples (http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1013&message=22995258) vs the gx100. I expect the dp1 should be the same quality as the sd14.
Any Ricoh GX100 user out there?

in P mode, straight out of cam. i must say the colour saturation is pretty good.
and... this is not something i normally try with any compact camera. however, since ricoh wrote in the specs that they have incorporated aspherical lenses to prevent flare... how can i not try? :bsmilie:
just a wee hint of lens flare. but, very well controlled.
TMC - nah. only retiring my s2pro (can someone buy it off me!!).. but, if this cam continues to surprise me with the performace, i think even my other DSLR will see very little of the sunlight in the foreseable future... :sweatsm:

Reading the details, it stated that the hood is 43mm thread.
Not sure if there is 43mm filter selling around.

I will be going to Cambodia this coming Tuesday.
Will test test the GX100 on Angkor Wat.

Bought mine at 6.30pm. Think that might have been the last 1 or 2 so better call to check availability.
The battery is exactly the same as Panasonic CGA-S005E (for LX1, FX01, FX8/9)
