helping some friends to ask.....:bsmilie:

how's the battery life?

Battery life is good, can tahan at least 200+ shots and quite a number with flash.
Did not shoot until flat so don't really know how many shots it can take.
AAA batteries however is a let down but I think that is expected.
Battery indicator also not very accurate when the juice is up it will just die.
You sure it is not for yourself, don't be shy lah:sweatsm:

what will happen to u is..you will have both cameras!!!! :bsmilie:

Relax, it's just one more, not that it's noticable .... :o

vortex, eawtan you all very bad, anyway will have to stop for a while lah too many compact and not enough hands to carry already unless...... :p

Good for you, so far have not heard any that have regretted.

hi guys,
just to check, if you want to use filter, you got to have the HA-2 adapter, right? after you fix it, can you use back the original lens cap?? or you have to purchase another one to complement it....

it has been mentioned earlier. if u want to fix a filter directly onto the adapter, u need to look for a 43mm lens cap. the original ricoh lens cap (with reasons known only to the 'wise' engineers of ricoh japan) WON'T fit onto the adapter tube.

another way is to get a 43mm-52mm step up ring, and fit a easy-to-find 52mm filter onto the tube. it's also easier to get a 52mm lens cap than a 43mm cap.

The original lens cap is 46mm. I got a 43-46mm step up ring for 46mm filters R72 - $28. And the best part is the lens cap can go over the filter!

ok lah..i would assume the battery life to be almost the same as the GRD

Is it $28 for the R72 filter or both filter + step-up ring? Where did you get it from?

The first time I copied to the DCIM folder but did not work and than I just copied to the root without deleting the one inside the DCIM folder and it worked fine. :dunno:
