FF = full frame, aka 36mm x 24mm effective sensor size, the same size that of the typical "35mm" film we used to use

no need to buy new comp, just be more selective of what you shoot
and resolution that you need

All I can say is that there was a rumour, whether it's just a pure rumour or not, time will tell.. ;p I am hoping the new 'body' is just a digital back for F6 and hopefully be used on the F5 also.

Rumours are that PMA might be quiet on the Nikon pro camera front.

Latest rumours were a D3H (10MP, 10fps, LBCAST sensor, DX format) will be announced, but that PMA was a little too early for Nikon to announce it - more likely the northern hemisphere summer (though with Canon announcing the 1DMkIII quite early, that may change)

A 35FF D3X is also rumoured (though exact MP count is not certain - could be 16, 20 or 22 - Nikon is rumoured to have at least 3 different 35FF prototypes at the moment), but this won't be announced until later in the year.
