I guess if you get a phone quote, you will get one price. But I think if you go down there expressing intention to buy there and then, they may be more willing to sell you at, let's say in this case, 1050.

Also, the 1050 may be a bundled deal i.e. including the CF card etc.

at AP, if they tell you 1100, say this: "i thought it's $XXXX?", then they will bring the price down....

i've did that twice to 2 different salesman at AP, both reacted the same, and initially, both also quoted the same price of $1100...

maybe if you try more salesmen, you can get a lower price?

Hmm... i just got mine 2 days ago. S602Z + Ridata 256mb CF + 55mm to 52mm ring adaptor + case for $1200 at alan photo. At first they quoted 1080 for the camera alone..then told them i'm a regular customer and my total budget is 1200. They ask me what i'm looking for for my budget. I told them and they were ok with it. Maybe that will be better rather than letting them do the adding?

Anyway, cheapngreen quoted me 1050 for the cam with leather case. Inclusive gst.

I got mine from AP on Monday (151202) with price tag below. All includes GST.

$1080 - S602Z + original pouch (exchanged for bag below)
$140 - Ridata 256MB CF
$35 - Nikon tripod
$25 - Canon bag (original quote $55)
$30 - Sanyo 1600mh charger
$12 - Extra 4 1850mh batteries

Not a genuine Fujifilm fan. hehe

At first, ask for $1150 for camera only without GST some more. I quote CP offer only $1080. Then, he lower price to above. I looked at Lowerpro bags, don't like internals. Looks cheap and flimsy. Decided on Canon bag. Can fit all above except tripod with excess space for extras later.
