Because if I don't resize, it's a 12mp image.

btw, may i ask why?

(a) no time for it
(b) you have better zoom lens
(c) lens just kind of sux

sorry, am considering if this or future 55=200mm vr for novice me

She has plenty of GOOD zoom lenses to choose from and she has already declared that this will be her travel piece ONLY... :bsmilie:

thanks zac.

for sgp usage, i will bring my 70-200vr though it will never hit 300mm unless i slap on the TC.
for overseas usage, i will never being the 70-200vr cos it's too heavy and bulky for travel.

guys i realised this lens has abit of af problems. i tried it at a track and i found the pics to be OOF sometimes in bright daylight and the colours seemed to fail when compared to the kit lens for D70s.

is the contrast problem common???

Just wondering how this lens fair compared to 55-200 vr

Dun bother comparing.
it is just never ending // :(

Anyone here have anymore comments about this lens ?

I'm also thinking of getting it.

I will let you know after I get the lens this evening.. hehe.. I will compare the lens against the venerable 70-200 AF-S VR..

I don't think you can compare that with the Trinity.

is this lens good for shooting sports in daylight? eg. rugby

thanks

I would say it depends on the amount of light available. if it's bright and sunny, yes.

Correct me if i'm wrong...

Hapi New Year...:)

Hi,

Has anyone use this lens for sports?...if yes,can I know how it fares? as I am considering getting it for sports photography.

Thanks

The zoom's max aperture is the limiting factor for sports unless you are willing to compromise.

Good morning :)
