The 70-300 against the venerable 70-200. If it is hard to guess it right, it means that the difference is small, insignificant. Hope to see more of such test and more thorough test. Hope also that there are other CSers who come forward to do it as a contribution to the community.
This reminds me of a comparo done by KRW, between the FF 5D and the Canon PnS and the diff is pretty small too.

I just snapped up the last piece of 70-300VR at Lords to complement my 17-55. It is selling as fast as the 18-200VR.

and you're right.
upon closer scrutinisation, the aircon condenser (?) on the left has more details than the one shot with 70-300.
