noticed your pictures are about Milan now. Just wanted to say your NYC sets are great. I am always impressed by how you have varied processing to give each pictures a very unique mood, and they usually goes well too! Hoping to see more of your works on buildings and old architecture, looking for inspiration on that genre.
just dropping by, dont mind me.![]()
Thanks emlee for your kind words and you are always welcome to drop by anytime.

Actually I'm quite bad at shooting building and architectural shots.....I've given myself an F9 grade for that.....hehe............
As to my treatment, I always tried to replicate my shot to what my eyes see, how my heart feels and where my mind (Imagination) leads to...........my 3 senses are always dictating how I capture my pictures at the time of shooting or/and at the time of post processing..........
Especially now with the creative art filters my mind is always in the overdrive mode............as you have to learn and re-learn to see things in a different realm.
Instead of just capturing pictures as it is by the camera, the photographer can extend by creating another dimensional perspective by giving an emotional feel to the shots.......be it distortion, textures, colors, challenges, fear, weather, difficulties, etc.........
This "unique mood" that you mentioned is precisely the tight intertwine connection of place, people, weather, tool and self that have always affected my works.
It is my believe that the inner struggle is what you have to journey thru' in order to bring oneself to the next level..............instead of just relying on the latest tools.....which is the easiest to overcome (just go out and buy to upgrade)............hehe
As a free and easy shooter that walkabout almost anywhere I just hope I can be of much of an inspiration to you .............my form of photography are more like street, documentary and photojournalism style.
I do look forward to your Italy shots in your thread as they are very well taken.........Cheers!
Here's a shot taken with the in-camera's creative "Grainy Film" art filter..........Enjoy!
