It was Good Friday, this 2nd April 2010.
And it was 5 days after CS crashed.
AlexK called for a IR shoot outing and a few of us happily went along.
The venue was the abandoned railway track just off Sunset Way.
The weather was initially sunny, but later it turned cloudy and drizzled for a while, before turning sunny again.
It was a good outing and I learned a lot during this session by talking to all my friends and discussing various aspects of IR photography.
Let me start off this thread and every one please go ahead and put up your works here in this thread lah...
I am using a modified Canon 20D with Hoya R72.
Here are some of my shots:
limwhow #1
The Railway bridge from the side
limwhow #2
I used Channel swap to just differentiate the colours between the metal and the wood.
I masked the sign board at the end and did a Hue/Saturation to render it green.
It was a valuable learning experience for me.
limwhow #3
We went under the bridge to try going at it from this angle.
limwhow #4
Here is a record shot of AlexK (in the foreground) and Wurdelak (in the background)
happy when the sun came out and started exploring further... haha...!
All my humble shots.
Please give me your C&C's.
I am still trying to learn and am still groping my way around.
And to all my kakis - LowLights, vngks, AlexK, Wurdelak and SereneXMM...
please post your IR photos and let's have a great time again!
