I may be stating the obvious, but "Pro" is a marketing terminology used by Companies to justify the high price or premium of a particular category of product by adding a few unique features.

But you also realise that these unique features are things that REALLY matter, like a higher capacity battery, tougher construction and faster storage medium, amongst others, and really sets them apart from the others? If the person wants or needs it, they will gladly fork out the cash for it.

Price on the Sony store USA is around 2.8k usd for body only... I wonder how that will translate for us over here lol

As I mentioned eariler, I brought my RX100 to DnD. At one point, 1 table shouting "Yum Shen" and the host was talking. My RX100 couldn't have that wide and I was in the center of the two. What I did? I took those people at the table, with host on screen looking at them. Still tells the story and you dont need a PRO camera to do so, just the PRO situation will do, haha!

I never slam the product just because it didn't fit me as an user, I mentioned A99 is a great product didn't I? Why should everything is taken so darn serious?

For me to get A99, unless its a 36MP (ya, more MP doesnt matters, but i like. ;p). But i m consider the FF viewcam, hopes the price not high till i can get 3 normal ones. Must plan nicely as tech moves too fast, cant catch up with them so much.
