oh well cant win 'em all I guess let just see how it perform in real life maybe the ISO is much better since they didn't cramp more mega pixel into the FF size sensor I though Sony would be bold like they did to A77 like 48MP on A99 hehehe

Not at all, I'm just judging based on the specifications like Ken Rockwell. lol For some things you don't even need to handle it. 19 AF points and ISO limit at 3200/6400 are simply deal breakers for me. For other people it might still be the greatest camera of all time of course.

Hmm well...dontknow if its true..but it was on the rumors sometime ago that already mention the A99 will be more of a "video" camera while the better one for photo will be coming only at 2013. (all this i read are written way before A99 officially release)

Hopefully its true and not 4 years from now huh? However for now...its still nice and entertaining to read the reviews and stuff for this A99...meanwhile.. lucky i am no rush for it. I can. still wait i guess. :bsmilie:

Sometimes I don't get the disappointment when cameras are announced. I saw the IS0 pics, I thought they looked impressive. If the af is better than the a77, I don't see why the af still sucks, maybe cos I don't shoot moving objects often, hence the ignorance on the af flaws.
 

heh. Most of the time i see Rash bro supporting Sony stuff and this is probably the first time i see him saying D800/D4 is good and nothing much about this A99. Seems like the A99 isnt really up to standard huh?

Interesting that sounds like my friend who said he forms expectAtion about food by looking at the ingredients of the dish. Fair enough, personal preferences plays a big part. Some like artichokes, some hates pickles. Put aside those nuances, the dish may not necessary be the bad after eating it.

To be honest, I don't see a need to change my a850 for this either. I don't shoot high iso nor actions. It's a good update to the old full frames nevertheless
