I meant the 5D Mark 3. Cos it was mentioned in the same sentence I might have misread your comment.Sorry, you mean the 5DS or 5DM3 ? Bllimus oredi corrected me that 5DM3 is not in the same league ... Thanks, bro
Ok, no worries ...I meant the 5D Mark 3. Cos it was mentioned in the same sentence I might have misread your comment.
OIC ... now only I know the 5DSR is also not released yet ... Sony & Canon must be in the race to release their future flagship model then ... :bsmilie:As for 5DSR and A7Rii, yes I would say they are in the same league, in that they are high megapixel, not released yet cameras. As for which is better, until it's released it will be hard to tell. Both are priced around the USD3000+ region too with the 5DSR being higher priced at USD3900 from what is mentioned in various articles.
Problem lies in the adapter sometime will lost connection when I turn the camera body to vertical or during zoom as my lens too heavy with LAEA4.![]()

Guys guys relac a bit..
Yes the camera is a bit expensive, I think it is just as likely to sell as it may not. Until the camera is actually in stores, we wont know![]()
Lets cut each other some slack. Saturday night chillax and listen to some good music on radio.
If this is a A-mount body with such solid technology, I sure go for it. Cause of my lenses are A-mount and maybe, the battery life will be better off down there. So, I am waiting for next A-mount body with A7r mk2 stuffs plus more.![]()
Don't discount Nikon leh. Hahaha. All in the race together.

Back to the technical discussion, hoping to see AF comparison between A7Rii vs A6000 soon.
Actually abit unfair to compare those 2 no? One is apsc and another is FF. I sure would like to see what real world improvements there are from the A7R to A7Rii that will justify an almost US$1000 in release price. Am sure there are. Just whether it justifies me switching. Hahaha.
Because a lot ppl hoping A7ii will have similiar A6000 AF system, but not realised... now A7Rii seems like on paper has the best AF in full frame mirrorless... so benchmark to A6000 AF since it is currently the best among Sony APSC and FF mirrorless bodies.![]()
Then be prepared to pay even more than this A7RII. At least $ 5000.
Forget it then....
That's why I'm still using A mounts lenses on A99. And not selling the A99 just yet. Because i still couldnt make myself to fully convert over. Just yet.
Either stick to 1 system. Or go 2 system !
Although most will mix them together. But seeing you had problems like that..If i were you. I'll stop using the adapter. If its so frustrating.
I brought and replace the mount with tough e-mount. A bit better, especially on my 16-35mm F2.8 which I used it quite often. But the 135mm F1.8, turn a bit, like a female, will disconnect from camera. Heh heh!![]()
Bro, tough e mount I read online there are some issues. Have you considered getting the original Sony stainless steel mount that's used on both A7s and A7ii? Sony sells them. Around $40.
I replaced tough e-mount. Didn't know that sony sell those. Btw, almost 3 screws head, the + almost gone, hard to take out.
I suggested any changing of that plate, should let the SC do it. Cause you might scratch the sensor. But if SC scratch it, they need to pay you back ;p
