to all a7rii bro how far can the camera detect face using a 24mm as the base line. like how far can the person stand before the box locking the face start to appear

still have it! hehe... surprisingly the techart works better with certain lenses compared to the metabones. looks like i have to keep both! or at least until a date when the metabones have a FW update that makes my techart redundant.
for example, my sigma 24 1.4 AFs very well even in AF-C on the techart, works well on the metabones on and off only! sometimes the metabones sees it as a manual lens, sometimes as AF lens. abit wonky.
50 art works super on the metabones, but doesnt AF on my techart.
hit and miss la... so will keep the techart on my 24 art. and metabones for all my other lenses. Good thing about techart is that they do firmware udpates too! hopefully they will reverse engineer something and post another update soon.

Just came back from Funan.
Checked with afew shops (TK, CP, CLICK, SLR)
The offer are the same. 4099..same gifts same PWP. No more stocks. However you can "book your set first" if you give them your name. Click! requires you to deposit 50% though.. to secure a unit. (not sure isit just me..but that's what they told me.. and they say stock to come in early sept. Other stores..cant give me a date).
Only SLR has ready stock. As of 11am when I was there. 2 units left.
Additional info... FE 16-35F4 is $1350. Same price across the shops too..

Cool. I asked them when is next batch coming in. They couldn't tell me a date. But it's ok. I can wait abit.
Saw a few guys collecting their sets at various shops too.
Just alittle sad that the free gifts are all the same.. not flexible. Not everyone wants the SD cards n strap though....... ack.

Last Saturday I collected mine from 313. I put my name down when I was in 313 on 6 Aug and I was told it will only be available towards the end-of-Aug. Nice Surprise!. But I was told even with this latest batch, Sony will not be able to supply to all those still on the waiting list.

Yes, I am using this with the 70-400G with the LA EA4. It appears focusing might be slightly faster than with the A7R. I am waiting for my LA EA3. From what I have read, the LA EA4 is still slightly faster, but with the LA EA3, there are more focus points and no 1/3 stop loss.
I also put name on 6th August but I didn't get called..
