Thanks but i think u got it the wrong way round. I got the a7rii , dont have the lens. I just wanna see how this lens performs on the a7rii , i know some bros here have got the lens. Have seen many picts from it being paired with the a7/a7r but this is a different sensor all in all.

Vm3512 ia not a "difficult" lens to adapt. No problem with all a7 series. That's why no one specifically mentioned this lens on a7r2.

Moreover, BSI sensor theoretically should improve the performance of symmetrical designed wide angle lenses like biogons.

Luckily this camera low light AF not as good as A7S

From online reviews or u tested it out? Just wondering as I am on the fence :P

On another note, someone selling this in BnS liao!

I tested it. Faster or similar with a7s in low light. In extreme low light a7s might be better as it can focus down to -4ev.

Ah thx. Ur low light = wedding dinner type?

I tried pairing it with the Canon 50mm F1.2 L USM on Metabones Mark 4 version 2. So far it has been quite positive even under dim light conditions. It does have a hard time locking to a subject when the light source is "too bright" (normal kitchen fluorescent lighting). Below are some examples. All shots are taken handheld on Auto ISO with the the F-stop set at F 1.2. (Metabones showed as F1.3 though). All shot are straight ooc with no processing done in lightroom or ps. What you see is what you get.

Taken under normal dim lighting in a shop. No problem focusing

Same shop and lighting condition focused on black rapid ad. Focusing was fast and spot on.

At Nandos Tampines. Those who ate there before should know how dim their lights are. Almost wedding reception lighting situation. Focused at number 21.

Focused at the stick. A little hunting took place due to the small subject.

This was taken at home to test the AF under normal lighting condition. Focus was fast and accurate.

This is where I had the most problem trying to achieve AF. The AF simply refuse to lock on to the subject no matter how far or near i was to it.
I even MF slightly to get the subject in focus before trying to AF again but it just refused to lock on. I ended up shooting this on MF.

This was shot manually focused hand held. Focused at the most front tart. It's also very delicious! ha ha ha!
