You are not alone, I believe many are excited and getting impatient over the loooong wait. I have just traded my A700 so yeah, hopefully it's realeased sooner.
A77 will take at least half a year more to come though. And it will cost around $1.8k (rough guess).
If Im in ur situation (as in don hv a camera), and I have a strong urge to get an A77, I'll buy a 2nd hand Alpha DSLR now, use it, then when A77 comes out i'll sell away or keep it as a spare.
Thanks for the advice.. So 2nd hand is it reliable? I always get my things 1st hand i dont really like 2nd hand stuff had bad exp before..

Alright i will check it out.. But i know this is a Sony trend.. But how about Nikon or Canon??
If u r planning to get A77 (I have a feeling the A77 will be a superb camera), then its better to stick to getting a 2nd hand alpha DSLR, so that u dont have to buy new lens.
If u buy a Nikon or Canon DSLR now, and the A77 comes out and U wanna get it, then u'll hv a problem of incompatible lenses.
Especially now with the unfortunate incident in Japan , most electronic production will be affectednwhile the country recuperate and recovers from the sad incident.
Instead of waiting if you are satisfied with what the alpha line cam offer you in your photography , a second hand dslr will make a lot of sense. If you don't like second hand , then maybe you might want to consider getting a33/55'. When a77 come out you can use a33/55 as a spare body since it's so small .

ok i just saw that the sony slt a 99 should be released in sept , but b4 that happens they will release the a77 in july

Sony mentioned before that the new FF camera will be released in 2012...
The rumour about A99 probably comes from some China website that no one would believe in...
Anyway Sonyalpharumors updated with some news about the NEX7 (SR5), and that the NEX7 will use a 24megapixel sensor (same as A77).
