It's more expensive though and you paid for it, nothing is for free.My a7 kit had the body and lens cap though.

Facebook msg is the in thing now... Mostly within 24hrs, sometimes within the next few hrs.Usually they reply quite fast, 3 to 24 hours.

If you post something like "does anyone knows the price of bla bla bla in bla bla bla shop", be expected to heard 2 types of replies:
1) Someone actually knew and replied or
2) Most will ask you to call and ask.
I don't see whats the big hoo haa from you when that is the standard answers you will get everywhere else not just here.
Or maybe you just surf CS and nothing else??? lol
Anyway, enjoy your new camera!![]()
Here's a real question(not that the previous one isn't), how do you turn off the focusing beep on the A6000? Its kinda loud. I tried on my sel50 f1.8 and first few shot seems to be the same focusing speed after that it feels faster, maybe its just me?
Thanks, its under Setup, Audio Signals.Check out the manual...

I am also puzzled. All the DSLRs( Pentax and Olympus) always come with body cap and kits lens with caps. Not that I'm saying it's "free". Just pointing out the inconsistencies. And as far as I know, other manufacturers provide body and lens caps for their entry level models.

First time I heard about Sony body with attached lens in box instead of separating the lens and body.
Hmmm...
That is why I am extra puzzled as Sony is quite "well-off" company.I was really quite noob when I got my Nex 6 so I didnt realise how shitty (and yet not shitty) that I didnt get a body cap. I usually always have a lens on my Nex 6 so I rarely use a body cap even when I have one. I do still wonder/marvel at how much excluding a piece of plastic will matter to Sony's profit margins![]()

But I hope that Sony would not repeat "no-body cap" and no-lens cap" on next A#XXXX kits respectively.
Just look at how much those original plastic caps retail for.I was really quite noob when I got my Nex 6 so I didnt realise how shitty (and yet not shitty) that I didnt get a body cap. I usually always have a lens on my Nex 6 so I rarely use a body cap even when I have one.

As likely as inlcuning a standard external charger. Down the road it's more likely you will see more stuff expluded. Every penny counts! That is why I am extra puzzled as Sony is quite "well-off" company.

I recall sony taiwan free external charger for a6000
That piece of plastic probably cost US$1, or lesser. But, if they can sell 1 million nex6, that a 1 million bucks saved.
Simple as well.
