Sorry, meant 'level gauge' when I said 'auto level'. Didn't think the description through.
After using it for few days.. just IMO only:
- I'd probably stick to Nex 7 if I was a pure manual user with a fixed lens (e.g. 24f1.8).. ditto if I am a manual focus user. The tri-navi dials are just too good, and feeling in hand is still better.
- I realise that while a6000 does have faster AF in low light, it doesn't matter so much with such fixed lens to me, or for wide angle lens (for obvious reasons). The AF speed with large zoom lenses like 18-200 is more noticeable, and could have less misfiring (i.e. wrong item in focus). a6000 is faster at re-focusing even if it does misfire.
- If I were a landscape shooter and have time to compose my shots on a tripod (ISO 100), I don't think the cameras have very much between them. No real reason to change.
- Mentioned before, there is slightly better low light performance, but not huge enough that it bothers me if I were to stick to Nex 7. I do feel the way the a6000 jpeg engine renders high iso photos is a bit different though, but have to shoot more before commenting.
Hence, IMO, I think overall the benefits are for mainstream users - e.g. people who like to take shots of running/active kids (PDAF should help), people who use it as a travel camera with large zooms (could be less misfire with AF, especially in low light) and without tripod (slightly better low light), and use it primarily in modes with two settings (e.g. auto, A, S).
Personally, I just got the a6000 as the cost is low to me. The a6000 might help with my zoo animal pictures as that's the only area I tend to have a bit of an issue with the AF with long zooms on the Nex 7.. although admittedly I rarely take such pics.
So although I did change because of the AF alone, one thing I have to comment is - even if you have a large DSLR (I have a Nikon DF at home), the AF is not going to be fantastic in low light when you have a large zoom on anyway, so I wouldn't make a fuss out of the Nex 7 here. You just have to be aware of the deficiencies of your camera and adjust accordingly. But if you are lazy and have the cash, why not?

Btw, if you ask in email maybe florence will give you a lower price then the RP price.. Usually it's the case..
But hey, everything can be done within a few minutes, but then u prefer to wait for spoonfeed here.

The shop is closed the time I posted it. Anyway I am on my way to MScolor now. Btw, I didn't ask for your help, I just ask if anyone knows the price of A6000 at msc and I did let everyone know Cathay's price. Matter of convenient. If you don't know, can don't post. Nobody force you to.

Bro I didn't get it for my nex 6 too iirc. Hope it helps. I ordered the set off ebay separately.
Not a single cap except for lens cap.. I was surprised that sony omitted those small little things just to save cost..

Maybe because sony thinks your lens will be mounted onto the body so there is no need for extra caps? Of cos if you buy lens only there will be a cap and u can use that.

That really suck... If you need to sell off your lens or body, you got to buy one...

Those small plastic accessories bring them probably the most revenue.
My body only comes with body cap.
When I got my Nex5n dual lens kit years back, it came with one lens attached, 1 rear lens cap for the non attached lens. No body cap.
