why SONY priced A55 package to "obvious"?
w/o lens -> $1249
dual lens -> $1349

their lenses are lelong goods?

Bro I only read the indepth testing they are doing with the cam I think that's very useful and I hardly reached thier conclusion page I find it a bit crap but the data I think is very good unless they are rigging thier tests

but it did mention 2 telephoto lens at the end of statement

For newbies choosing between the A55 and the competing brands for the same price bracket, it's a no brainer.

The weird thing I find many websites compares the A33/A55 feature-wise against competing brands mid to high range DSLR.

Of course the A33/A55 will lose out on performance to them :bsmilie: although by not much sometimes :thumbsup:.

And to add one more point for newbies, SONY is still learning the trade ( jumpstart by Minolta) and more new innovation to come. Kinda feel sorry for the other brands :lovegrin:.

A33/55 IS SONY newest entry-level cam. Imagine what the mid-range to high-end cams will be like in 1-2 years time IF you join the Alpha system.

I think its flattering for Sony if they are being compared with higher end cam from other brand meaning other brand Mid is just a bit better than Sony's entry level DSLR/DSLT. If I was the other brand it's an insult to my product. so to me it's a kudos to Sony! :thumbsup:

Nope. The main subject states only "Digital SLR 16.2 Mega Pixel Single Lens Kit"

and the subpoints states "Included with versatile SAL1855 all-purpose lens"

Must be typo error. Not the first time already. Can't be 2 lenses for additional $100, then who would buy the body option or even the A33?

I'm NOT saying that they do, but even if they did, one can only 'rig' tests so much before they start losing credibility, but to be fair the other Pro-Sony review site is the complete opposite ! :bsmilie: everything Sony is like gold ! :dunno:

But getting the kit is more worth it, only $60-70 diff.

within the range of D5000 and 550D, but features wise wins them all.

If not get A33, it's really value for money.
