[03.04.09] After spending a good 4 hours at the amazing Ueno Park, we went across the street to another famous attraction, the Ameya Yokocho Market (or Ueno flea market), for some quick shopping and snacks. You can find many Japanese local produce, seafood and those delicious fruits here at very attractive prices. The place also reminded me of those night markets in Taipei, where you can find almost any fashion apparels and accessories here! How we wish we'd spent more time here...

wah that is a lot of durians!
when i working in Japan i only saw one in a Tokyu supermarket and it cost a bomb... like close to 7000 yen!
but here it is still very expensive... that's like almost S$40-50!
These are shot at Tsukiji Market, and they are for hooking and dragging the huge frozen tuna fishes
Yeah... It's like those imported Japanese honey melons here, which are sold for $99 each
Wonderful pix. Definitely looks like money well spent. Can't wait for my turn. 3+ months more of waiting.
