[03.04.09] It was the first time in my life to witness the beauty of sakura, hence I was so excited to have taken tons of photos of this majestic but short-lived full bloom. For those who have been reading this thread, hope that my photos so far (and more to come ) don't bore you down, but give you a good feel of what to expect from Japan in Spring instead! Your photos are great!. It brings back memories as I was in Japan last year in Spring. We travelled almost the same route, except for Nikko which I went in the early 80s before digital camera were availble. Nikko, in Autumn is really, really beautiful with the multi-coloured leaves. The street scenes in Ginza lookes so familiar until I realised we stayed in the same hotel-Mecure Accor!
