I just handles one Sunday.Very light and hand feel uncomfortable after 5 minute or so with 40-150.IQ is very good even at ISO1600 but the user interface is......

Really? We were shooting with the 50-200 and it felt fine... my only problem is I am so needing a vertical grip..

My hand is not that big.50-200 is ehhh on E410....The user interface is not that good(No 4 toggle pad,everything need to go to menu).But the IQ is so high!!

I admit when I first tried out the E-300 I felt it was very uncomfortable...I thought why did they have to make the grip so large? Now I'm just used to it, and anything else (E-4x0) would feel odd. Hopefully I'll find out on Friday.
The transition is not all that tough mike, it's just back to the old days where you cradled the camera by the lens (the way that is should be anyway!).
The last time I was so happy spending a thousand plus bucks was when I got my E-1... :angel:
The interface is no E-1, but it is quicker than the E-300.
Well, I don't know about you, but how can anything that light feel uncomfortable in 5 minutes is really beyond me.
Holding a 1DmkII with the 70-200mm f2.8L IS mounted on one-handed with the arm outstretched.... now that's uncomfortable... :bsmilie:

I am convince by the IQ but not the user interface,everything need to deep into menu.Old 40-150 BTW.The feel is ok,very easy to get used to but i don't like the idea of small camera on big lens and i am a fans of 630g-1.2kg or so with grip camera.

I don't want to be an EP1 kaki since don't have budget.Aiming for Exx or E510 sucessor.Don't plan to buy a body until 09.More interest in 50-200 and 30mm F1.4 now.
how about the 350D? light but wtf? :dunno:
