It's a... compromise. :bsmilie:
You mean you tell her its hers and so you can spend, but then you will use it like ... 80% of the time? ... the beauty of language in all senses of the word ... :D  ;)

Bought in Singapore.

Here's the proof of purchase. ;p

I don't know about that... the E-410 fits into her handbag...

You might want to take a look at it, but you must have strong self-discipline...
Phew

I almost thought later really happen, but when I checked the specs out on DPreview, no anti-shake!

Resisted! :bsmilie: :bsmilie: (Along with the fact that no more $)

That'll give you... about another month to save up about 1.5k for the E-510. ;p

The official RRP is $1,299.

How much cheaper you get will be up to you.

Is this body only or with Kit lens?

You guys must be one of the 1st few to own one. Both E410 & E510 are still not available in the US.

Have fun!

It's with the 14-42mm kit.

Didn't plan to own one so early; but when it was on the counter it looked like a forlorn puppy looking for a home...

 Pentax forever! :sticktong

Hrm, didn't know they had anti-shake too. Wonder what Canon and Nikon are doing.. Probably counting the dollars for their IS/VR lenses.. =D

Better profits for in-lens system, i.e. every IS lens you buy you're paying for the IS all over again.

Here are some people pictures taken with the E-410:

ISO 800, with the 50-200mm taken by me

Here's an interesting page that's on the topic I came across a while back, "Why Your Wife Wants You to Get a New Camera" (not that I have to personally worry about this since I don't have a wife, and all my friends are photographers anyway):
