:bsmilie: ....me started since day one of the announcement....still at bottom of the list.

More than 40 people on the waiting list at CP.

I wonder if the person evaluating the camera has missed out anything. There are so many other people who has tried the camera, non of them highlighted this issue!

hav you tried the recommended settings to "retard" the AF.

Tried out the camera during the EOS experience.

Tweaked the AF via Cn Fn . It helped a little.

But still i got out of a burst of 5 shots .. 2-3 shots were OOF and i distinctively had AF pt on the subject all the way since the 600 F4 was on a gimbal, it was pretty easy. With focus pt expansion on, AF sensitivity tweaked to MAX and to add "ease" to the AF system, selected AF assist Left/Right.

Still didn't help.

Its like Vista.

No SP1 released - I seriously don't dare install it.

So until the AF issue is addressed, I won't dare touch it.

I have been using vista for 3 mths, till date have not hanged once. It is also much more efficient as compared to XP. So I doubt it is going to have SP1 soon, as there are nothing much to patch at the moment. They have made minor patches here and there via windows updates though.

I wonder how many will pull out after this.

If people will to pull out of the waiting list, many will be happy because there will lesser queue. :bsmilie:

This explains partly why there were only 10 pieces sold in the market during the first launch. I guess that Canon has already identitfied the issue. The factory is checking and rectifying the stocks before the next shipment, that causes the delay in the shipment.

Maybe they have not use the cam full capability yet...

I have not tried the AF AI servo mode as I have enough time to check the lenses have any back focus in single shot mode only due to......

So the issue is confirm as U have done the full setting...by right should get more than 95% in focus if u use mk2 or mk2n without any user fault...

Hopefully Canon manage to rectify it....
