Agreed! ;p
BBB! MTL! esp the fisheye zoom for u!
:sticktong
The only advantage of the new canon fisheye lens is its zoom function. Other than that it is only f4.
I still like my sigma fisheye 8mm f3.5 and 15mm f2.8 prime. More wider and lighter. :bsmilie:
Unless someone buy these from me.....I will get the zoom.
I am quite like the 70-300 though.
Why do I see the 60D more of a downgrade den upgrade?
I am quite like the 70-300 though.
Agree! It looks just about perfect for travel. And only 1080g.the 70-300 looks good though. portable and weathersealed. good for travels.

Will have to see the pricing tho....Robgalbraith site announced that its USD $1,500 - which is ard 2k SGD.
New temptation.....8-15mm Fish Eye. I hope the cost will be reasonable. The 400F2.8II is also very tempting....err....damn.... Let see which bank I can start to rob first!
I assume it should be fixed (i.e internal zoom) - that alone is a major plus point. I hate the push pull mechanism of the 28-300mm L and 100-400mm Lthe 70-300mm is fix length lens? but cost @ 158000 yen around 2.5k
nt sure how will it compare to the 28-300mm (heavier)...

From: http://www.dpreview.com/news/1008/10082617canon70mm300mm.aspBut the new 4 stop IS of the new lens sure will be better, and it is also Internal focus but sadly they forget to add FTM.
"As with all Canon L series lenses, full time manual focus override is possible, allowing photographers to manually focus, even when the AF motor is engaged."
