New temptation.....8-15mm Fish Eye. I hope the cost will be reasonable. The 400F2.8II is also very tempting....err....damn.... Let see which bank I can start to rob first!
Will be very interested to see reviews/test shots for the 8-15 on a crop....

60D makes no sense to me. :nono:
I either get a 550D or 7D. If want a 7D but not enogh budget, I will get a 2nd hand one then. As simple as that!
Canon is a very stingy business man as usual. It offers some new features while on the other hand takes off some too. This creates more room for them to do upgrade later, hence dig out more money from your pocket!![]()
I will post soon...
WTB: 60D and 70-300mm L lens.
pls contact me...
;p
before you finish instalment, i am sure you are looking for new lens again, like that it extending your loan period? may be Courts Max credit can help you....;p
u can sell both ur fisheye and get the canon then. then don't need to bring 2 lenses out.
its just 1 stop slower than ur 15mm and 1/3 stop slower than your sigma.
the 70-300 looks good though. portable and weathersealed. good for travels.
Agree! It looks just about perfect for travel. And only 1080g.
Will have to see the pricing tho....Robgalbraith site announced that its USD $1,500 - which is ard 2k SGD.
Want to get 70-300mm but facing issues.
What will happen to my 70-200mm f2.8 IS and 300mm f4.![]()

U can dump them to me....![]()
can donate them to me. i don't mind free lenses.
mmmm.... i'm very surprised by the intro of the 70-300L IS and the 8-15L fisheye...
Looks like they gave the old 70-300 IS a new paint colour and a slightly better IS mechanism simply to charge more.
And I somehow think the 8-15L is the start of the new set of high-performance UWAs. I am sooooo waiting for the 17-40L IS![]()

seems like Canon is always the follower...
Hi,
In terms of camera features, it seem to be a downgrade from X0D series... plastic body, slower frame rate, no joystick to pick AF point and no AF microadjust!
Hmm... may be I should just keep my 40D at the moment and save more for the 7D??
Anyway, the day of built-in photoshop is coming... next time we'll be able to do curves, layer & etc in camera as the computing power keep increasing.
Have a nice day.
