well, because those people bought long ago at the higher price of 3.7k+ and doesnt want to face the fact of losing so much. but sooner or later they will have to face it and drop the price...

i rather they drop prices of lenses instead :bsmilie:

Why don't arrange a trip as travel to KL/Penang/Malacca and buy it there. To be safe also.
As far as I know the price is about SGD2.9k body only. Try group buy maybe slight lower.

Well you can choose to buy branded or expensive stuff and carry the big brand plastic bag (eg. CANNON) or u can wear a slipper and singlet and keep it in yr worn out backpack. If the robber have the guts to rob a group 5 physically fit combat ready NSman, well I salute!:bsmilie:

The bomb can only be triggered when you go to time delay shutter. 5 sec after pressing shutter release, KABOOMZ!!

5 combat ready fit NSmen does not mean you wouldn't get robbed. They might move out in 5 tonners load of robbers!

No Local warranty leh.... for a mere 200 bucks you wanna cross the custom for services? Moreover, very hard to sell here if you decided to "upgrade". Think twice my friend.

Gotta keep in mind the warranty is 3 years though on the other side of the causeway, warranty extension is also very expensive locally.
