5D II Specs

wah.... drool worthy if the price is about $3+ K.
If I run Canon, I would most likely try to up the specs and price it closer to N's D3, give it a run for the money.
..and name it 3D as proposed by 'akdwivedi'. hehhe..
though keeping the name as 5D mkII is still good.

If I run Canon.... I would do the opps.

Make it a full frame that has slightly less feature than D3 inorder to keep cost low..... then sell it at a much lower price inorder to get more ppl to own my brand of camera..... then 8-12mths later..... comes out a 7D that is much better than than the 5D Mk II and better than the D3.....

Market Shares is more important to Camera maker.....:bsmilie:

Ever wonder why a shavers are so cheap but the blades are amazingly ex? It's the same kind of business strategy in photography i suppose.

If you observe the product position of Nikon and Canon cameras, they are all in different positions and never on the same level.

It looks like someone did a print screen of the website then used photoshop to change the 5d entry into 5mkII.... if you go to the website you'll see that the cameras are all in the same layout except in place of 5dmkii is 5d
