Likely it'd be the 1D2 that'll be replace. I'm very satisfied with my 5D thus far.

I'm still thinking of whether to wait for its successor or get the 5D cos i'm only buying in July.

If $$ not an issue then its the 5D II in July.
I'd wait abt 6 months for Canon to iron out the firmware bugs in the MkII and the price will drop by a few hundred dollars as well.

Fully agree. I might want to wait even longer for the price to decline.
So far my current 5D still serve me well, no point jump to a new camera even if my wallet allow.
I guess i'll just follow suit cos first firmware sure have some bugs.
