It will be very disappointing. But Canon always good in their marketing strategy, removing XXD might be their move.... I just hope the 60D will be out soon.

if the price is $1600 with 18-55mm IS, it is a bit over price as body should be almost the same price as 50D.

I wonder how much is Japan selling as it is very much cheaper than Singapore. I got my 7D body 2 months ago for only $1830. It was through one of my Japanese colleague who went back for his headoffice meeting and he order from kakaku.com
