30% INCREASE IN WATER PRICE

Maybe the price increase is justifiable if it leads to water independence for the red dot. What do you think?
You know I have gotten to know a few of you a little and I have learned a great deal about Singapore and one thing that comes to my mind often is many of you are very smart very intelligent highly educated so you would think that SG would be a leader in water technologies. Maybe one will come along yet with some discovery that would give you water independence. Talk about getting rich. Surely the government invests heavily and has this as a top priority?

No I still suspect something is amiss but then again SG has a reputation of no corruption.
LKY is dead probably true of his advisors also, and I don't think the boy plays in that league..of course not many probably could...even more rare in a country of 5 million.
Maybe there is something to why the girl through such a fit...a woman's wisdom and all you know.

I will say this much...my water bill is outrageous, along with my other bills, and it is because of that universal maxim - he who has the gold makes the rules...until someone invents a 'guillotine' and restores the natural balance of things. My country is owned yours not so much...I hope I am pushing up daisies when the piper calls for the restoration of balance.

Yes, the prices that we are paying are meant for the construction of the water plants. Most of us are now drinking seawater or urine water. Hence, it is more expensive than before.
