I once received a guest from Kuwait.
We were at Orchard Road and suddenly it began to rain.
I ran for shelter but my guest stayed and was enjoying himself in the rain.
When the rain stopped, I asked him "Why don't you get a shelter..."

I think many office workers will carry a bar of soap and go down to Weld Quay to have a bath in Singapore River during lunch time to save water at home.
