Noticed the metal plate on the lens states 400 F2.8...so unless got extender?
i'm not sure how many MP your camera has, however there might be those few pixels burnt out to make you believe it's a 400/2.8. the section between the drop in filter and the EF mount gives it away easily as a 500 or 600... that part i personally can't tell apart yet.
however the way he's carrying the entire setup indicates he doesn't need to run much. i have heard of fulltime photographers who carry something like a 400/2.8 and run to catch a closeup... only to hear the thud of the entire lens AND camera kissing the ground because the monopod attachment was too weak for the load (minimum 7kg, not yet factoring "bouncing" during running...)
So tat time Williams Honda wat is the spec of the engine?
1987 Honda RA167E V6 1494cc
 how much bhp does this engine have?
1989 already have V10 engine, wat took them so long before they decide to use a V10 configuartion engine for a road car, in BMW M5, Porsche Carrera GT & Lamborghini Gallardo? :bsmilie:
Do anyone know what engines are the Honda team using? It's clearly much noisier and louder than the rest. Is it from their VTEC technology? :bsmilie:
The "white-faced" driver on the bottom row photo used to drive for McLaren and is a 2-time World Champion. Can you recognise him?

Hard to believe, but the sons of these 2 famous drivers are now driving in F1. Can you identify them?

Bro ClipperSG, that is a hell of a F1 treasure trove you have there! Well done.
I wish that I knew that one could correspond to F1 teams back then.
ClipperSG, thanks for sharing your collection. Thats very impressive!
Wah bro, you also can recognise the famous faces har..those were classic times. :sweatsm:
When I was young, not only did I correspond with F1 teams, I also corresponded with a lot of military companies too. I was very heavily into plastic modelling, and being not exactly loaded with money to buy reference books, I would write to them for their brochures, posters, whatever they have.
I used all these as a reference to make more accurate models. I have also visited every Asian Aerospace since 1982 (first event) till now. I take photos of the aircraft as references for modelling.
I still have all these letters..they are kept together with the F1 ones. I should pull them out and take shots of them too!
With the Internet now, its much easier to obtain information..but I feel that nothing expresses sincerity like a hand-written letter.![]()
The Honda team is using the Honda R808E V8. Its a 2400cc, 19000rpm engine. I don't think its VTEC technology.
