maybe he used bounce flash... anyway even use this mount type of flash, still can get 'studio' light style lor... have to rely on manual mode liao... nxt time got time i can teach you...

wow bro u sounds real good in product shoot , must show me some of yr work some day man ! Pic 3 i still dont understand what u trying to say , all pic taken with 1 flash no wireless mode , poor guy like me cant afford expensive equipment and lens .. sharpness ? hmm , i think most of the shots i tried was using a wide apature with a cheap lens thus might be whatu say but overall i love the feel of it dont know why maybe i should USM those pic .


Thanks for the first bad critique for this series , like to hear more of art directive and lighting if possible as i am still learning its my first attempt

Don't look down on cheap lens, they could also produce good result, ok. Maybe you want to try mount on tripod, close down the aperture to increase the DOF.

I never do product shoot as much as DCA, so I got no comment.

You have no idea how small is the place. Its like 2 men working in a tiny submarine. Not careful, and u can trip on wires or boxes.

actually the lights are nicely packed in 1 bag liao...

items i need...

1) 2 tables or 2 stand
2) 1 piece of glass / plexiglas big enough to put light tent
3) 1 light tent
4) light meter
5) 1 boom stand

estimate are the items... i have them, but to dismantle & bring there... heheh... unless we organise on a sunday morning, den come my office dismantle, den drive my van to somebody's place... den end of the day, bring back & assemble...
