Title : What is going on out there ?

A curious child looking out from a hut.

This image was taken at Cebu, Barangay Larego - the village where the villagers live with the dead.

It is a squatter in a cemetery.

Title : What is going on out there ?

A curious child looking out from a hut.

This image was taken at Cebu, Barangay Larego - the village where the villagers live with the dead.

It is a squatter in a cemetery.

I do not normally comment on composition because I am still learning but this photo seems so real, can actually feel the fear/curiosity in his eyes :thumbsup::thumbsup:. The framing is appropriate, and the sparkle (can't remember the correct term) in the eyes emphasise the expression. The black and white treatment adds to the effect. You have my vote

I went there to capture the life of the people in this village of death. I was with an NGO called Share A Child Movement. I am planning to publish a photography book about the street children of Philippines and Indonesia. So hopeing to raise funds and awareness.

Powerrr....did u use dodge tool to make the eye bright and shiny...wargggh...when u want to host next lesson..want to learn more leh :bsmilie:. i like the exposure of ur photo..its darken..and as well texture of the boy face is shiny..i can even see details of running nose expressions on the boy face..kewl.

Later i ask my littile nephew to cry..then i snap..see i can get it or not. hehehe

Yes bro, as I revealed in the last phototalk session, I dodged the eyes a little..around 9% of highlight.

Human expression is about reflecting the emotion status of a person (may be apply to animal too).

There are only 4 emotions in human - Joy, Anger, Sad, Fear. :angry::cry:
