i've seen people shoot sports with a 5d m2. just my 2c. it boils down to what is your main pirority, imho. or to make it easier, your budget. heh.

but they're still very expensive (new or not), and the available film packs in singapore are usually the old expired ones. if you want new film packs, google the impossible project and you can find the online store there. best of luck! polaroids are very awesome, but unfortunately, very expensive :(

he's the official photog. lol i think sticking to your flash is a much better idea, honestly... club lighting can be unpredictable with all the different colours. i do a lot of low light stuff with a 1.4 and trust me.... very hard to get the correct settings in pitch black with constantly...

don't know if this helps, but i was sitting about one row down from the couple. (not my photo, i got it off google... you'd be surprised how many photos there are of the stage and not the actual audience. jeez.) i possess no estimation skills, so i cannot tell you how far lah..

i walk around with a 450d and a 50mm f/1.4. gives you absolutely no focal range when you're constantly stuck at 80mm all the time, unless you can tahan that. i find a lot of people like zooms more. with 80mm all the time especially i have to walk back a further distance to get something or have...
