Not sure about the 70D. I asked about it at the service centre for eos M and its still applicable. thats about a month+ ago. think its still available but they do not divulge much over the phone.

$470 for kit 2. Its about 15% off the price from canon website. So i think the same applies to kit 1 and 3 perhaps. I had 18% off when I bought my 60d and 650d. Not worth to trade in expensive camera. better off selling in the buy and sell.

im getting it from canon direct with the ppp. They have no stock at the moment. Will retrieve stock from the dealers and will take a few days to arrive.

thank you for the tip on using the RC6. Would the remote need to be pointing at the IR on the front of the camera when pressing shutter button? I am just concerned the IR might not pick up that effectively if i stand behind the camera when using it. Im looking at kit 2 with the the ef adaptor...

IC. thank you for the reply. Will probably find a 2nd hand set to try and wait for M2 to arrive. I read from reviews M2 has wifi control for shutter via the canon app. Focus speed seem to be faster than the v2 firmware for M.
