Best way is not to take cabs. AVOID it if you can UNLESS you are REALLY desparate or carrying heavy items. Seriously speaking, once you see a slow down on public taking cabs (it has not happen yet especially during peak hours and rainy days) the drivers is going to feel the pinch...

Just tested. 14bit RAW works as well on 8fps with EN-EL4a attached to it. 1 fps per second more is still a big differance in terms of pricing ($2,300 more) D700 + MB-D10 + EN-EL4a + MH-21 Charger + BL-3 = Around $4,600 (I can shoot up to around 5500 plus shots before both batteries...
