Just wondering, where's the best place to park in this area? :dunno:
Just wondering, where's the best place to park in this area? :dunno:
i'll most like park at the URA hourly parking near the taxi stand before liang court.
if i'm not mistaken, the street-side parking lots only start charging from 8:30am onwards.
So it's FREE PARKING when you arrive, and possibly even covering a quick breakfast after sunrise :bsmilie:
If you enter any of the shopping centres before 7am, they have a charge before 7am, and then another one kicks in after 7. So it could get expensive.
Why not all park along Carpenter Street, just opposite Central?

To get there by 6.30am, it will still be dark when i leave my place so can't really tell how bad the weather will be unless of course its already raining cats and dogs by then. So i'll probably be at the venue regardless.
so will you be parking along carpenter road?
where is the exact place to meet actually?
hahaha it's whether you're willing to take the risk, that's all.
I live fairly close to Clarke Quay, so if the sky is badly overcast and/or raining at my place, it's safe to assume that the light won't be wonderful. So in that case I'll rate sleep more highly than taking so-so pictures.
It's a tough call!If you see heavy clouds to the south, and moving farther south, then also can assume the rain will reach Clarke Quay...
