Har? Isn't posting a Leica image comparing? And if we don't compare, how do we make an assesment? Making comparisions is part and parcel of life for people all over the world, not a Singaporean thing.
Yes, you are right.
In Burma, certain tribal women compare who has the longest neck. And in Africa, certain tribal men compare who can jump over a herd of cattle without tripping or falling.
In Singapore, we compare materialistic objects, such as our houses, cars, hi-fi equipment, cameras and lenses. Reason being we can never match up the rest of the world in term of our neck length or jump height, so we compare what we can buy with money (which some Singaporeans seem to have plenty of it).
