Close but no, it is not....

weekh, before u disclose, perhaps everyone shud vote whether they like the lens or not. It is a wonderful rare blind test. Let the lens stand on merit and not on brand.

I like the lens.

ok... let's have a vote...

Some more pics to help your decision:

Just got a Zeiss 50mm planar 1.7 today.

Tried it and it's very sharp. But sadly, with the adapter mounted it does not focus to infinity. Sent it to P&G to service and calibrate it ):

Is it Lecia 85f1.4?

I'm afraid not....

Anyway, this a good place to try this blind test. Since Zeiss lens users here have an eye for bokeh, glow and whatever special lens properties....

Thought i did share.

A quick shot with the Zeiss 50mm 1.7 ( before i sent it in for servicing  )

No idea what lens u're using weekh, but great shots!

Surprised that that no one mentioned CV lens...

coz not many own the lens mah... Nokton 55?

also, who wants to name voigt as the lens when pic looks like from zeiss & leica ? it will cheapen all our ZF lenses :bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

so far, all german suspects hv been fingered. ZF 851.4, Leica 801.4, ZF501.4, Rollei Planar ( also zeiss-made), ZF25, ZF28, Leica 751.4( a legendary M-series lens). Only psychobiologist and mckenzy are naming voigt as suspect. Nobody think nikon or canon.

like boardgame cluedo, Who Did It ? Was it the German, Japanese or the Mixed-Blood CV ?

Minolta Rokkor 58mm f1.2

Based on Wee's photo not bad a lens actually. But how come a Rokkor lens comes into the ZF thread?

Anyway Wee is able to take nice photos with every kind of lenses in his hands.........
