Don't lah... Canon DSLRs still have their charm.

Don't lah... Canon DSLRs still have their charm.
the camera is indeed critical.
digloyd tested ZF from 1dmkII, to 1dsMKIII, to D3. and all the cameras gave different colour accuracy and transition. At the pro level, its not just about saturation.
Zeiss has been on a rampage in the past 2years, bringing the rangefinder lineup to ZM and the Contax Zeisses to ZF. I think they've already said 21, 45 ( tessar ) and others on the way. There's no clause that says ZF and Cosina can't introduce same lenses side by side.
by the way, in 2006, Nikon announced they will stop producing Manual Nikkors henceforth with the exception of Nikkor 20mm f/2.8; Nikkor24mm f/2.8; Nikkor 28mm f/2.8; Nikkor 35mm f/1.4; Nikkor 50mm f/1.2; Nikkor 50mm f/1.4; Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/2.8; Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8; and the PC Micro-Nikkor 85mm f/2.8D.
at the same time in 2006, Zeiss announces the ZF mount. From 3 lenses, it is now 8. There's un-announced collaboration behind the scenes.
choose your poison carefully. there's no lack of choice going forward.
thanks for the info bro...maybe its time for me to switch system to Nikon...![]()
dun need to, rite? i thot weekh uses contax zeiss (with adapter) on his canons? :dunno:
