Zec@Work: Thailand International Motor Expo 2012

photographer can make branding without showing name...nice thought..Zeckson Chow:)

It is commendable that you are able to do 150 above average images of a car show but I do find the "balance" lighting between the background and the subject rather distracting. Personal opinion I would have like the back ground to be slightly under to take away the sometimes messy background and to give the model a more "pop out" effect. Images are also lacking your usual pin sharpness, due to slower speed?

Anyway, a very good effort to produce the 150 images here.

Hey... Thanks for dropping by. I just came back from New Year celebration from Bangkok. Phew. Had much fun there. Of course, liked your idea of having a darker background and stronger flash to make the girls pop out more. :) These 150 images are just about 6% of the total shots I've done in this event. :)

Thanks Zec for the great effort to share with us your harvest. I thoroughly enjoyed going thru' these pictures in the first morning of the New Year 2013.

Just for discussion, a higher shutter speed would make the background slightly darker and at the same time, you get less camera shake and sharper pic. As things are moving fast in this kind of shoot, you just compose and fire fast. Personally, I would go for at least 1/125s or even higher shutter-speed. Well, it is a matter of personal preference.

Indeed. I usually keep the EXIF intact in the images. You can download them and check them. On my display, the images are already pin sharp. Are you guys seeing something different? Hmm...
