Combine several pictures together ? One picture with your bro only, other pictures with light only ?

No lah. All in 1 image. Meter for the sky and then pump a flash onto my brother. The balls of lights are added inside using Photoshop. :)
 

Hey, really like the sky of your photos. The clouds really turn out to be like that on the actual day? Or is it because a merger of several photos - HDR?

In some of the images, the sky is natural in pattern. In some of the images, I replaced the sky from another image. But all the sky colors, saturation and contrast are post processed to what what you see here.

My images are not made using HDR. No way to make HDR portraits during that situation. Thanks for your comments.
 

#13 works for me... the rest, a bit too "defined" and comic style... and i don't really like the colour treatment.
 

#20 and #23 is also pretty good.
 

I think both the commander and his wingman need to attend some course conducted by your brother to trim down the BMI...
