4/3 system has "deeper" DOF even if we compare 50mm vs 50mm at f2.0 on APS-C system. Because in order to get the same FOV, 4/3 user would have to stand slightly further.
DOF increases when the subject is further from the camera.
With my 50mm f2.0, I can get the same DOF on a head shot which requires f2.8 on a 50mm APS-C system. Here, I am refering to the same FOV, where I stand slightly further away compared to the APS-C user, framing on the same subject.
